# Aethair PRO

Industrial-Grade Customizable Environmental Monitor for Indoor and Outdoor Use

Aethair PRO continuously measures PM1, PM2.5, PM10, and total PM, plus temperature, humidity, pressure, sound, and light. It holds two hot-swappable gas sensor cartridges (from 17 options covering 12 gases), a MultiSense cartridge in its MultiSense socket, and a differential-pressure cartridge in its expansion socket. Built-in 4G LTE with cellular data included, and the Solar Panel Bracket for off-grid power, put it at fencelines, on sites, and in operator cabs, with alerts and reports against NAAQS levels, OSHA limits, or site action levels, each on its own averaging period. See the [outdoor and ambient air quality monitoring](https://aethair.io/solutions/outdoor-monitoring/) solution built around it.

What you get from it

## What You Get From Aethair PRO

Every reading goes to the Aethair Cloud and appears in Environet. Each outcome below is a product you can read about.

### [Live data and alerts](https://aethair.io/platform/environet/)

[Environet](https://aethair.io/platform/environet/) shows every device live and alerts the people you choose by email, SMS, and webhook, on a reading or its average over any window from 5 minutes to 30 days. [Noesis](https://aethair.io/platform/noesis/) fills in a dashboard, a report, or an alert from a plain-text request.

### [Compliance reports](https://aethair.io/platform/reports/)

[Aethair Reports](https://aethair.io/platform/reports/) writes scheduled or on-demand reports, as PDF or secure link, from templates for Aethair Blue, WELL v2, cabin air (ISO 23875), and the CMS-2567 healthcare codebook (ASHRAE 170), or against custom limits such as OSHA PELs, NAAQS, or EPA guidance, each on the average you define. [See a sample report](https://aethair.io/docs/aethair-office-air-quality-report-example.pdf).

### [Dashboards and the app](https://aethair.io/platform/dashboards/)

[Aethair Dashboards](https://aethair.io/platform/dashboards/) put live readings on screens, online or by QR code, and the [Aethair App](https://aethair.io/platform/app/) puts them on phones. A public dashboard can show a work site's neighbors the air at its fence. [See a live dashboard example](https://dashboard.environet.io/?token=7e8ea79a-8dfd-4412-bafe-e7506037d12d).

### Your data, stored until delivered

Aethair PRO caches readings on the device until they are delivered, so a connectivity outage delays readings instead of dropping them, and raw readings are stored exactly as the device sent them. Every reading is encrypted in transit to the Aethair Cloud and platform access is role-based. Live and historical readings export as JSON or CSV through the [Environet API](https://docs.environet.io/) (OpenAPI 3.2). You own your devices and data, can grant partners controlled access, and readings are kept for as long as you need them (at least two years after a project ends) and deleted only at your request.

### Calibrated, with little to maintain

Aethair PRO is calibrated before shipping against NIST-traceable reference standards and ships with a Performance Certificate: for each sensor checked against a reference device, it names that device and gives the correlation (R and R²) and the p75, p90, and p95 errors ([an example](https://aethair.io/docs/1C002887.pdf), from an Aethair IAQ). There is no filter to change. Servicing means exchanging a pre-calibrated gas sensor cartridge when it is due, with a screwdriver and no recalibration on site, and firmware and configuration updates arrive over the air from [Environet](https://aethair.io/platform/environet/).

### One account for every site

Every Aethair PRO, at every site, sits in the same Environet account as Aethair IAQ and Thiamis-connected sensors: one console, the same alerts, reports, and dashboards for every device.

Mounting

## Choose How Aethair PRO Mounts

The mount on the back of Aethair PRO takes three interchangeable adapters, so the same monitor can go on steel, a wall, or a pole.

- **Magnet Adapter:** holds to steel (equipment, cabs, metal walls, and doors), or seats onto the optional round Wall Bracket.
- **Wall / Locking Adapter:** fits its slotted Wall Bracket and locks the monitor in place.
- **Strap Adapter:** takes a hose clamp around a pole, pipe, or rail.

Outdoors, Aethair PRO can run on solar power with the optional Solar Panel Bracket.

Questions

## Aethair PRO FAQ

How is Aethair PRO used in EHS programs?

Set thresholds in Environet on the averaging period each limit is defined over: a 24-hour or annual average for the NAAQS PM2.5 level, an 8-hour TWA for an OSHA PEL on a gas measured by a sensor cartridge, and 15 minutes for a dust action level. Any window from 5 minutes to 30 days is available, and reports apply the same averages. As an area monitor, Aethair PRO is a continuous screen that shows where and when levels approach those limits. OSHA PEL compliance itself rests on personal breathing-zone sampling, and NAAQS attainment on [FRM/FEM](https://aethair.io/standards/epa_frm_fem/) data. Where a permit calls for a reference or near-reference instrument, such as a Met One E-BAM, that instrument connects through [Thiamis](https://aethair.io/products/thiamis/) into the same account.

Can it run off-grid?

Yes. With the Solar Panel Bracket, it runs on solar power where there is no mains, mounted on a pole or a tripod. The built-in battery carries it through a loss of power: about 24 hours in normal mode, or up to 72 hours in power-save mode, which reports every 15 minutes.

What does field reconfiguration involve?

Pre-calibrated cartridges change with a screwdriver, with no recalibration; the device keeps reporting on its built-in SIM throughout. Because it carries its own cellular connection, it needs no local network, no Wi-Fi onboarding, and no IT involvement at the site.

Who installs Aethair PRO?

Your own team or a partner from Aethair's network. No special license is needed, and the process is simple: mount the monitor, power it on, and it starts reporting over its own cellular link, with data included and no network fee. Where coverage is weak, it can join the site's Wi-Fi instead.

How is Aethair PRO bought?

The hardware is a one-time purchase: the monitors and gateway with their sensors, cartridges, and accessories. The platform is an annual subscription on a one- to three-year contract that covers every platform feature. Cellular data and data hosting are included, with no network fee. It starts with a 30-minute call: you tell us about your application, then we demo the solution for it.
