Water Level & Flow
Temposonics (formerly MTS Sensors) Level Plus LP-Series magnetostrictive liquid-level transmitters measure product level, interface level (e.g. oil/water), and multi-point temperature simultaneously, with strapped tank-volume output, from a single tank opening over Modbus/DDA, for high-accuracy tank gauging.

What the Temposonics MTS Gets From Aethair
Connected through Thiamis, its readings arrive in the same Environet account as Aethair's own monitors.
Live data and alerts
Environet shows the instrument live and alerts the people you choose by email, SMS, and webhook, at the thresholds you set. Noesis sets up a dashboard, a report, or an alert from a plain-text request.
Compliance reports
Aethair Reports produces scheduled or on-demand reports from the instrument's readings, as a PDF or secure link. Templates cover Aethair Blue, WELL v2, cabin air (ISO 23875), and the CMS-2567 healthcare codebook (ASHRAE 170), or you can report against custom limits such as OSHA PELs, NAAQS, EPA guidance, or your own program limits.
Dashboards and the app
Environet dashboards and the Aethair App show the instrument's readings just like any Aethair device. The occupant-facing Aethair Dashboards status display is built around Aethair IAQ and Aethair PRO.

Questions
Temposonics MTS FAQ
What does a Level Plus transmitter measure, and how does the Thiamis integration read it?
It measures product level, the liquid-liquid interface level (e.g. oil over water), and multi-point temperature from a single tank opening, and can output a strapped tank volume. The Thiamis driver polls it over Modbus RTU (RS-485, 4800 baud), reading product level, interface level, and temperature; when the transmitter is configured for volumetric output the level register is returned as a volume instead.
How does magnetostrictive level sensing work?
A float carrying a permanent magnet rides the liquid surface. A current pulse sent down the waveguide interacts with the magnet's field to launch a torsional strain pulse; the time-of-flight of that pulse back to the sensor head converts to an absolute position. Because the output is absolute, the transmitter needs no scheduled recalibration.
What is the difference between product level and interface level?
With two floats of different densities the transmitter simultaneously reports the top product surface (product level) and the boundary between two liquids (interface level), such as an oil/water interface, both from one probe. They appear as the two channels of the water-level parameter.
How is tank volume produced?
A 200-point strapping table converts the measured product level to volume, with API temperature-corrected volume available. The transmitter can then output that volume in place of a length reading, which the integration ingests as the volume parameter (m³).
Which models does the integration support?
The LP-Series Modbus/DDA transmitters: TankSLAYER, RefineME, SoCLEAN, CHAMBERED, and LevelLimit. CHAMBERED (for magnetic level gauge chambers) measures product level only; LevelLimit adds an integral HI level switch. The LL-Series (LLE, LLH) uses industrial-Ethernet/fieldbus outputs (PROFINET, EtherCAT, IO-Link, SSI, CANbus) rather than Modbus RS-485 and is not served by this driver.
