RESET Air: commercial interiors performance targets

Indoor: building air quality certification (commercial interiors)

RESET Air is a building standard and certification from GIGA that is based entirely on continuously monitored indoor air quality. For commercial interiors (standard v2.0), its performance targets are PM2.5 below 35 µg/m³ (acceptable) or below 12 µg/m³ (high performance), TVOC below 500 µg/m³ or 400 µg/m³, and CO₂ below 1,000 ppm or 600 ppm. Temperature and humidity have no targets but must be monitored, because they affect the PM2.5 and TVOC sensor readings.

What RESET Air Is

RESET also accredits monitors by grade, and only Grade A and Grade B monitors may be used in RESET Air projects. LEED v5 accepts sensors with RESET Air Grade B accreditation for its continuous monitoring credit.

How Monitoring Demonstrates Compliance

RESET Air is monitoring by definition: accredited monitors installed in occupied space report continuously, and the results against the targets are the certification. What matters is the monitor grade, its placement, and the completeness of the data.
